Overcoming Anxiety Attacks

An extreme sense of fear and discomfort called an anxiety attack or a panic attack peaks typically around 10 minutes. They could happen suddenly and out of the blue.

An anxiety attack can be brought on by anything; a specific trigger is unnecessary.

Rapid heartbeat, sweating, shivering, breathing difficulties, and a feeling of impending doom are signs of an anxiety attack.

After a joyous birthday celebration, a demanding day at work, or even a family gathering, I would experience panic attacks. I wasn’t able to identify any significant natural causes.

Self-help methods and solutions are available that can assist control symptoms and lessen the frequency of anxiety attacks in addition to counselling and medication.

Here are some tips and products that I found most helpful:

1. Journaling for Anxiety Relief: A Tool for Overcoming Anxiety Attacks.

2. Use essential oils.

3. Overcoming Anxiety Attacks through Therapy.

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) can help individuals better understand and manage their anxiety.

When I did this type of therapy, it was a miracle cure. It helped me challenge my thought processes and what was causing me stress. Overcoming anxiety attacks was so much easier with the help of a therapist.

4. Get physical activity.

Exercise releases endorphins, which can improve mood and reduce anxiety.

I try and walk for 30 minutes each morning. I listen to my favourite entertaining podcast or fun playlist to make the walk more enjoyable. It also helps me get out in nature.

I love hearing the birds and the rustling of the stress as I walk along the nature strip. On the walk, I often say “hi” to people I haven’t yet met, and even those tiny interactions help me feel a sense of calm and belonging.

what not to do when someone is having a panic attack

It’s important to remember that everyone’s experience with anxiety is unique, and what works for one person may not work for another.

I tried several products and activities before I found what worked for me.

With the right tools and support, it is possible to overcome anxiety attacks and lead a fulfilling life.
