It’s more than just a mood disorder, too. Depression can make you feel unexplained aches and pains, fatigue, or suffer appetite and weight changes. Letting depression go untreated can have significant negative effects on your health in more ways than you might think.

Mindfulness can help you stay focused on the present moment. It takes your mind off worrying about the future and helps you stay grounded and in control. Try taking a few deep breaths and paying attention to your breath as it moves in and out of your body. When your mind wanders, gently bring it back to your breath.
