Water has the amazing ability to soothe the body and relax the mind. The blue hues of the ocean are one of my favourite colours to help me feel calm.

The therapeutic benefits of taking a warm bath or shower include stress reduction and improved sleep.
Some research studies also suggest that a type of warm bath therapy may have positive effects on people living with depression. Warm baths are linked to decreases in stress hormones and more balanced serotonin levels, which help regulate mood.
Swimming can be a low-impact exercise that boosts endorphins and reduces stress. My favourite summer activity is swimming in a pool or the ocean.
When swimming, you release serotonin, boosting your mood and giving you a sense of well-being.
The social aspect of swimming and its impact on mental health is well worth it. Swimming with friends or family can create a relaxed and enjoyable environment, encouraging laughter, playfulness, and stress relief.

The serenity of being near water bodies like lakes, rivers, and oceans brings calm to a busy mind and can restore the soul. I always feel close to nature and grounded near a body of water.
The soothing properties of blue spaces on mental health help calm a busy mind. Blue is one of my favourite colours as it promotes relaxation and stress relief. Even having blue ocean pictures displayed around my home or office helps me feel at ease.
Spending quality time in nature is important to alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Essentially, blue spaces have the power to improve our mental and physical health and foster meaningful mind-body connections—similar to the way that exercise can.
